Hi, I’m HeeSeong — a Web Application Architect

My journey into web development began with a simple question: how are things built to last? While working various jobs to support myself during a long period of exam preparation, I once took part in dismantling old buildings. Observing their exposed structures sparked my curiosity about how something complex is designed, constructed, and ultimately used by people. That moment stayed with me.

I experienced a similar sense of fulfillment when I built my first application with my father. Watching the screen respond to my code — and realizing that what I created could actually help others — gave me a deep sense of purpose. Since then, I’ve wanted to build web applications that provide real value to people, just as well-designed buildings do.

Over the past two years, I’ve grown as a full-stack developer with a DevOps perspective, working across React and Next.js on the frontend, Spring Boot on the backend, and Docker-based deployments on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. I focus not only on implementing features, but on designing stable, scalable systems that deliver reliable user experiences and operate efficiently in real-world environments.
